Help culture and creativity shape our cities

Sometimes, change happens because of one person with a passion and a creative idea. It could be an artist, a concerned mother, or a community leader—someone who has a vision about creating change in their community. But they rarely have the chance to make things happen.

That’s where the League of Creative Interventionists comes in. We provide funding to individuals—the LOCI fellows—who collaborate with planners, nonprofits, local residents, and public officials to think differently and implement innovative solutions to a broad range of community needs.

These projects have given kids a safe place to play, enabled residents to turn an abandoned building into a community center, and engaged people in taking portraits of their neighbors.
