Join us for this month’s meeting of the Charlotte chapter of the League of Creative Interventionists. Dive deep with Charlotte Fellows, who are dedicated to igniting change and growth in communities across our city, and learn more about getting involved with our organization.
Our theme for this season is ACTION. It’s important to remember that change is an ongoing process and that we all have a role to play in moving our city forward. How might we organize, educate or raise awareness in a way that responds to the need for activism? Together we will conceptualize and plan a creative intervention that illustrates our collective dedication to supporting a cause.

The American criminal justice system holds almost 2.3 million people in systems of confinement. The goal of this intervention is to raise awareness of the epidemic of mass incarceration across our country, but specifically in our state of North Carolina. Join or visit with our Fellows and neighbors who will share statistics, engage the greater Charlotte community to make sure we are informed of our rights, and create a platform to share how we have personally been affected by the criminal justice system.
This intervention will take plac ein Uptown Charlotte. Exact location TBA
