Project PLACE, Charlotte, NC

Residents of the Lakeview (formerly Lakewood) community face many challenges related to low income levels, crime, disconnect to city and poor neighborhood physical appearance. Project PLACE empowers residents to address community challenges via creative projects centered around Lakeview Park. Project PLACE, led by Quintel Gwinn will serve as the central project for the 2019-20 Charlotte Fellows.
